The med team helps her off from the cycle and lets her sit down. Many chest electrodes are on her chest under her sport bra. The med team places an O2 mask and checks her vitals, but suddenly her eyes roll, and the med team must lay her on the floor. Jozephine gasps for air while the med team pulls up her sport bra for more exams. However, they quickly realize they must start CPR immediately. Following a few cycles of CPR and ambu bagging the defibrillator is charged but there is no response. They continue the resus procedure on the floor but soon the stretcher is ready, and they move her to an empty ICU room. They remove all of her clothes; the BP cuff is replaced, and they hook her up to the heart monitor. They continue the dramatic resus procedure on the totally nude patient. The defibrillator is charged again but there is still no response. They intubate her and fix the ET tube with a yellow plastic ET tube holder. The resus action continues with CPR, ambu bagging and more defibs. The med team must perform more cycles of resus until finally the patient’s pulse returns to normal rhythm.
