When done they start the intubation procedure with an ET tube. When it is completed they fix the tube with tape and tape her eyes too. They hook her up to the respirator and everything is ready for the surgery. When the appendectomy is done the patient's heart goes to vFib and soon she flatlines. The med team starts CPR immediately, they take her off the respirator and start ambu bagging her thru the ET tube. The defibrillator is charges but with no response following the first shock. They continue the resuscitation procedure with more rounds of CPR and many defibrillations. Finally, following a major shock Liliana's heart starts to vFib again from the flatline.... the defibrillator re-charges and following a rapid defibrillation the patients pulse returns to normal! Her eyes opens as she is extubated and following some stimulation she starts breathing alone. An OR clip focused on resus on the OP table. Deep and strong chest compressions, sharp defibrillation reactions! A must see for OP - resus fans!
