Her secretary is happy but worries for her because her breathing is not normal. The parameds arrive and start checking the patient's condition immediately. They place the O2 mask onto her face and BP cuff onto her arm. They remove the AED pads and check Lucia's heart with the steth. They prep the 12 lead ECG for the correct diagnose. During the ECG exam Lucia's heart goes into a massive arrhythmia and her breathing is at issue. The med team starts CPR immediately and removes the many ECG electrodes from her chest. They perform deep and strong chest compressions and ambu bagging. The defib paddles are charged but there is no response following the first cycle. The med team produces many more cycles of resus until finally the patient's pulse returns to normal rhythm. She is ready to transport to the hospital.
