She getting more and more nervous understanding the extent of her error. Suddenly her head starts to ache very strongly. She has to stand up but hits the wall and then the floor. The med team checks her BP and places an O2 mask onto her face. They prep an ECG exam immediately. Open her shirt and place the electrodes of the 12 lead ECG onto her chest (bra on) and rolls down her stockings to place the limb electrodes. While ECG exam proceeds Marias breathing starts to go flat. The med team starts ambu bagging her and they realize Marias not breathing alone although she has a pulse. They must intubate her immediately! They prep the intubation set and intubate her with ET tube, taping it onto her face. Now they can keep her breathing with an ambu bag thru the ET tube. Suddenly Marias heart flat lines. The med team cuts off her bra and starts performing CPR immediately! Her colleague Sonja is very nervous and she worries about Maria. The defibrillator is charged but there is no response following the shock. The med team continues performing resus. They must perform more cycles of CPR and defibrillations until finally the patient's pulse returns. They check her heartbeat again with a steth and checks her pupils as well.
