The nurses give her an O2 mask, check BP and hook her up to a heart monitor. A bit overwhelmed by all this, Miranda starts gasping for air and goes into V-tach. The Nurses quickly charge the defibrillator and cut away Miranda's clothes revealing her ample breasts. The 3M pads are slapped on and she receives the first round of defibrillation. Miranda's sinus pulse returns. The nurses check her BP again and steth her as she breathes deeply. Suddenly her heart goes into heavy arrhythmia and she takes short breaths. The head nurse tries to bring her sinus back with CPR but there is no response, she is still in V-tach. The other nurse is ambu bagging her. The defibrillator charges and following the shock her sinus rhythm is back again. She feels dizzy and breathes deeply again. The ER team place classic vacuum electrodes from a 12 lead EKG onto her chest and limbs. As they check the results her sinus goes into tachycardia again. The head nurse begins CPR and defibrillation again. Miranda flatlines. The team continues the resus with CPR ambu bagging and charges the defib again. Following the shock Miranda's normal heartbeat returns, but she is very tired and breathless. Her pulse gopes again. Once again CPR and defib is restarted but she flatlines again. The team continues CPR and bagging. Following yet another defib, the patient's sinus rhythm returns. The team is shocked and unsure of what is occuring. They quickly relax her and start intubating her. Just as the ET tube goes down, Miranda flatlines. More rounds of CPR and defib follow but soon her sinus returns yet again. It's obvious now that Miranda needs an implanted pacemaker. They transport her quickly to prep for OP. As they cover her on the stretcher Miranda loses sinus rhythm again! The nurses are really stressed but determined. Following the head Nurse's chest compressions and more defibs, her normal pulse returns.
