The defibrillator is charged but there is no response following the shock. The med team continues the resuscitation. Following a few more cycles, the patient’s pulse returns. She is still breathing quickly. The med team places the O2 mask back onto her face and before they can stabilize her she has another scary seizure attack and her heart flat lines yet again! The med team starts the resus procedure a 3rd time and tries to revive the patient. They perform CPR, ambu bagging and many defibrillations. Following many more cycles the patient’s pulse returns and now she looks stable enough to transport for more exams. The med team starts to roll her bed.
