She starts coughing, cannot breathe and begins chocking. She gropes around in terror for her cell phone but cannot contact Nicky because she is busy on her phone. When Nicky returns to the room to find poor Rebecca face down in the pizza box. When Nicky realizes this is not a joke she starts checking her vitals and calls for help immediately. She starts the Heimlich maneuver but nothing comes out. Rebecca’s airways are still closed. She tries again and again but nothing comes out. Medical help soon arrives and they help Nicky to lay Rebecca down on the floor. Nicky now tries to find the food with a tool, but it is at too deep. They cut off her clothes and try to ambu bag her but it does not work. Rebecca’s airways are not clear and if they cannot clear her airways in the next few second, then brain damage is probable. Without O2 CPR is also not an option. So they perform a strong heimlich together again but again nothing comes out. Nicky takes the medical tool and finally she gets the larger part of pizza obstructing Rebecca’s throat. Now they can start the CPR at last and ambu bagging her. They places the AED pads and use the machine many times but there is no response. The dramatic resus action continues on the nude patient. They try everything to revive her. After many cycles of resus Rebecca’s pulse returns at last and is looks like she has not sustained brain damage. This clip contains a very dramatic choking scene, Heimlich scene and resuscitation.
