Her friend panics, calls the ambulance and with the training she received at work starts MTM and CPR. After a few rounds, the paramedics arrive. They charge the defibrillator but there is no response after the first round. The medical team continues the routine with many more rounds of ambu bagging, chest compressions and defibrillations. After a few cycles, Rita's heart returns to normal rhythm and she is ready for transport to the hospital for further tests. (EC)
