The medical team removes her shoes and socks and cuts off her t-shirt and bra for an exam. They hook her up to the heart monitor with 3 leads and starts checking her vitals, checks BP and performs a heart and lung auscultation and abdominal palpation. Before they make the diagnoses the patient’s heart suddenly flat lines. The medical team starts the resuscitation procedure immediately with CPR and ambu bagging. they perform strong chest compressions and work quickly on the young patient. The defibrillator is charged but there is no response following the first shock cycle. They continue the resus procedure and following few cycles of the routine, they realizes its best if they intubate the patient. The doctor performs the intubation procedure using a laryngoscope and inserts an ET tube. The doctor fixes the tube with tape and the med team immediately continues the resuscitation procedure with many more cycles of CPR, bagging and defibrillations.
