However, soon she starts gasping for air and suddenly her heart rate goes up very quickly. A few seconds later her heart flat lines. The nurses run in, check her vitals and they realize there is no pulse. They start CPR and call for more help! Soon a large med team arrives to work on her quickly with CPR and ambu bagging. The defibrillator is charged but there is no response following the shock. The med team continues the resuscitation, they remove the mayo pipe from her mouth and intubate her. Following a few cycles of resus procedure and defibs, they place a CPR board under her back and continue the resus action. They try everything to save the young patient! Finally her pulse returns and it looks like she is stable. The doctor checks her pupils and there is a visible pupil response - The med team hooks her up to the respirator and checking her vitals successively.
