The medical team starts examining her, checking BP, listening to her heartbeat with steth and hooking her up to the heart monitor. They realize Sentina has a dangerous heart arrhythmia, and must cardiovert her immediately. The med team tells Sentina what will occur but she is really afraid to be put out for it. The med team thinks a small shock will be enough so they let her stay awake through the painful procedure. Dr.Jade places the paddles and waits while the defibrillator detects the synchronization point. Poor Sentina’s chest just wheezes under the big paddles as she waits for the shock. The machine is beeping, Jade warns her and the next second Sentina’s body twitches and she moans in pain. The medical team starts to calm her and checks her vitals but sadly her heart rhythm is still not good. Dr. Jade places the paddles again, Sentina is afraid as teh same thing occurs same again. She screams following the shock. The med team checks her vitals again and realize they must continue the treatment. Sentina tried to stop Jade from putting the paddles on her but finally the med team tells her this will bet the last round. The defibrillator is charged and following a very painful shock her heartbeat reduces. The med team starts checking her vitals again and thinks the procedure is done. However, shortly after Sentina’s heart starts racing again and she gasps for air and her heart goes to Vfib. The medical team starts the resuscitation procedure immediately with strong CPR and ambu bagging. Her friend Kelly is now close to panic what she has done to her friend. Dr. Jade escorts her out. The defibrillator is charged but there is no response following the shock. The medical team continues the dramatic resuscitation on the young patient. They perform many more cycles of resus procedure until finally her pulse returns. Now she looks stable, her friend is allowed back in. Both patient and friend are relieved!
