After her initial CA in the Office this episode begins as Sunny is laying on the floor and the paramed team has resuscitated her successfully. After her initial CA in the Office this episode begins as Sunny is laying on the floor and the paramed team has resuscitated her successfully. The Zoll AED pads are still placed on her chest and the med team checks her vitals. They ready her for transport to the hospital but her breathing starts to go flat again and very soon she goes into full cardiac arrest again. The paramed nurse starts CPR immediately and the AED is charged again. They shock her heart but with no response. They intubate her and When the ET tube is inserted, the team continues more rounds of CPR and defibrillation. Finally the patient's pulse returns, she is breathing normally again but they leave the ET tube in. In the next scene Sunny is in the ER. still with chest pains, her pulse is weak and her breathing is flat but she starts struggles with the ET tube she trying to pull it off, so they extubate her. Her breathing is better. They remove the AED pads from her chest, place an O2 mask onto her face and remove all of her clothes. They hook her up to the heart monitor and the leads of the 12 lead EKG are also placed. They steth her heart and checks her BP too. Soon her chest pains get stronger again and she starts gasping for air... suddenly her heart goes Vfib again. Edina starts CPR immediately and the defibrillator charges but there is no response following the first shock. CPR and ambu bagging continues. Defibrillation is performed again but with no results. A dramatic fight continues for this young heart attack patient's life with CPR, ambu bagging and lots of medication to stabilize her. Finally following the 3rd defibrillation her pulse returns. She is breathing normally... is she stable enough to transport quickly to the cath lab? To be continued!
