(English) Suzy is lying in the pre-op holding area covered with a blanket, and wearing a hospital gown. The surgeon comes in and informs her they must surgically remove some items she ate earlier because they lodged in her intestines. The surgeon places a pink bouffant cap on her head and an O2 mask onto her face and transport her to the OR. In the OR she lays on the operating table and the med team starts prepping her for surgery. They hook her up to the heart monitor and place a BP cuff. (English) Suzy is lying in the pre-op holding area covered with a blanket, and wearing a hospital gown. The surgeon comes in and informs her they must surgically remove some items she ate earlier because they lodged in her intestines. The surgeon places a pink bouffant cap on her head and an O2 mask onto her face and transport her to the OR. In the OR she lays on the operating table and the med team starts prepping her for surgery. They hook her up to the heart monitor and place a BP cuff. The black rubber mask is placed and she rests comfortably. They intubate her with an LMA and tape her eyes. The surgery starts and everything seems to be going well. The assistant wipes the surgeons forehead many times during the procedure. When they close the patient’s abdomen, her heart flat lines. The med team starts resus immediately with the CPR and ambu bagging thru the LMA. The defibrillator is charged but there is no responses following the first round. They must perform a few more cycles of resus until the patient's pulse finally stabilizes. They extubate her and place an O2 mask on her face. Suzy ends up in the recovery room and starts slowly waking up after the surgery.
