They take the patient's BP, and place a nasal cannula, then wheel her into the pre-op room. Unfortunately, Tiffany's nervousness gets the better of her and the doctor is concerned she will begin to hyperventilate. The doctor and the medic hook her up to a 3 lead heart monitor and then to b safe they place the black 02 mask on her face. Tiffany takes a deep breath and the extra 02 has its effect in calming her breathing. The medic then balloons the patient.
