Coach Deacon had a difficult decision to make, there are 6 girls on his squad all deserving, but he could only take 4 to nationals. What made it a little easier was to not select pretty Maya, who transferred mid-season and hadn't been on the squad as long as the other girls. It was a shame because he is quite fond of Maya.
