Paige didn’t actually stub her toe. She smashed it with a book while fighting a gnome in Shoe Gnome Vs Paige Erin Turner. So now she needs to get it checked out by her doctor.
Paige is sitting in the doctors office when the doctor comes in and asks how she injured her foot. She side steps the question and tells him that her toe might be broken. He looks at her confused but decides to just look at her foot here it is.
The doctor kneels down and carefully removes her shoes. He wipes his hand after he removes the shoe because it is wet. But he is a professional and does not react enough for her to notice. As he inspects her toe he notices bruising in a strange manner.
He asks again how she did it. Paige is very vague in her answer. She says she sort of stubbed it. But it was said in more of a question than an actual answer. The doctor tries to figure out what happened and get her to tell him what actually happened.
Next he tells her that he needs to have her get on the table. She hops over to the table and lays down on it. Once she is on the table he asks her again what happened. Paige changes her story a couple of times and the doctor is wondering what she is trying to hide. Sometimes women try to hide what actually happened to protect someone.
He asks if someone hit her. She says no very quickly. He asks if this happened at work. She says stumbles on her words and finally says no, it happened after work. The doctor continues with his inspection of her foot.
He shows her where the bruising is starting and tells her she may lose her toe nail. The doctor continues showing her where the damage to her foot is located. He also shows her the manner of the injury. Again he tries to get her to tell him exactly what happened.
Next he removes her other shoe and compares her feet. This way he can look at both feet at the same time. As he does he compares movement and color to get a better idea of the injury. Paige continues to nervously try to explain what happened without actually telling him.
After inspection of both her feet he tells her he is going to treat it as if she had a downward impact. Then he asks her if she fell. Because she seems confused and that is common with head trauma. She says she may have and it’s been a long day. The doctor takes out a flashlight and checks her pupils. Everything appears fine with her eyes. Next he takes out the stethoscope and places it on her chest. He moves it around her chest listening. Everything sounds good. So he explains what he recommends she do for treatment.
He asks her if there is anything else that hurts or if she thinks she needs a full checkup. The doctor is concerned that she may not be telling him everything. After talking to her he checks a few more places on her back and head but doesn’t find anything else.
He tells her that everything will be at the front desk and leaves her to get down and put her shoes back on.
