First, I brought a camera that had a battery with a short life because it could no longer hold a charge. So after a few stills, it stopped working. Next, I forgot to delete a lot of files off my camcorder to make space for the shoot. Within a few minutes of the interview, it stopped shooting. I sat there for a bunch of minutes trying to figure out how to remove the protection from the files I wanted gone, all the while losing valuable shoot time. Wendy asked if I had a phone I could use to shoot the video. Luckily, I did, and it had a 16GB card. If this happened with someone I shot before, it would have been ok because they knew me. But Wendy M just met me. And after I told her I'd done this for 14 years, it sure didn't seem that way. Fortunately, for me and you, she was cool about the whole thing. I felt like a guy who just met a beautiful and really awesome girl, but couldn't get it up. Never again!!!
