This first entrancing part is POV - You meet your boss Lavinia as you need to tell her you want to leave the company to join a competitor, as they're offering you more money. She remains calm completely self controlled; once she made sure that you're determined, she takes out a pocket watch and starts moving it before your eyes, whispering entrancing words to your ears, for several minutes, keeping strong eye contact with you.
