Elizabeth was in a hurry to go to work because she overslept. She pulled on the first socks she could find. And only at work did she discover that these were torn, dirty and smelly socks. She tries her best to cover the holes in her socks, hoping that no one will notice them. If the holes can still be somehow hidden, then the smell will not go anywhere, and it spreads throughout the office.
