In the middle of the bustling city proudly stands an enormous corporate skyscraper. This behemoth of a building belongs to Horizon Holdings, a multi-million dollar banking company. The board of directors running this extremely successful corporation are some of the most influential men in the country and are all suspected of a wide range of illegal activities, some of which being corruption, fraud and embezzlement. Concerned the illegal activities will affect the stock price, A large group of majority shareholders for the Horizon Holdings corporation have called upon private investigator Kanon’s firm, requesting their best agent. Naturally, Kanon is put forward and is tasked with conducting a secret internal investigation and to collect any incriminating evidence she can find on all the board members. On her mission so far, she has gone after all the board members but one and, despite the number of predicaments she ended up in, has collected damning information on all of them.

Her final target is the mastermind of the whole illicit operation and is the chairman of the company, Takeda Itsuki. Cold, calculated and charismatic, Takeda is the epitome of all three and is by far the highest level case Kanon has taken on. Luckily for her, she loves a daunting challenge. Takeda rarely leaves his corner office on the top floor of the gigantic Horizon Holdings building and when he does, he is securely guarded at all times, so Kanon concludes the best course of action is to go undercover as a Corporate Security Audit Specialist. Doing this, she will be coming into Horizon Holdings to ‘inspect and audit’ their security system and protocols. This will give her access to otherwise restricted areas, as well as giving her reason to be in places that may seem suspicious. Using her firm’s vast resources, Kanon successfully strings together her infallible fake identity and schedules an appointment to inspect the corporation the next day.

Kanon walks up the intricately chiselled steps leading to the enormous Horizon Holdings building. Dressed in her simple, but sexy skirt and button-up, Kanon glides through the ground floor posing as a Security Specialist auditing the company’s security protocols. She continues the convincing charade all the way until she gets to the top floor. Kanon enters Takeda’s office, and explains to the chairman she is checking his security system. Thinking nothing of it, Takeda politely smiles at Kanon and lets her get on with ‘work’. Eventually, Takeda leaves his office for a meeting while Kanon continues secretly stalling for time. Now all alone in the mastermind’s office, she can start her evidence extracting. Being the experienced investigator she is, Kanon comes prepared with a special USB she got off of one of her colleagues for the mission. Once plugged into a device, this USB will quickly extract the important files off of the device and onto itself. She inserts the USB into Takeda’s computer and anxiously waits as it finishes uploading all the content. Just as the data is all uploaded, the office doors swings open and Takeda strolls in. Looking around his empty office, Takeda notices something is off. His eyes narrow as he stares at the out-of-place office chair by his desk. He storms over to find an unfamiliar USB stick plugged into his PC and Kanon hiding under his desk. As the man puts two and two together, his expression darkens. Dread washes over Kanon as she realises the jig is up.

Before she can get another word out of her mouth, Takeda has already got a handful of humongous guards into the office, hauling her out and away to a secluded holding room. The guards handcuff her hands and legs and toss her down onto the floor. Even for an experienced veteran such as herself, Kanon fails to keep fully composed as thousands of thoughts pop into her head on what they’ll do to her. She desperately yells for help, but is immediately shut up with a cloth stuffed and wrapped around her mouth. Still refusing to give up, Kanon mmmphhs and nnnggphhs through her cloth gag, which only makes the guards giggle and wrap another layer of cloth around her face. She fiercely pulls at her restraints, falling over on her side in the process. Despite her continued escape attempts, squirming and wiggling around, a look of dejection spawns on Kanon’s face. Thinking things can’t get any worse for her, Kanon has no idea what’s coming next.
