Her step-mom had to take a different car to work this morning because her old 1983 Mustang wouldn't start. So Jane walks out to the Mustang, which is parked under the carport and films herself trying to get it started. It's cold (for the South) and that's probably why her step-mom couldn't get it started. The hood is already popped to try and let the gas smell dissipate. Jane gets behind the wheel, leaves her left leg on the ground and films from her point-of-view her trying to start it.
