It is winter and her car is covered in snow. The car stood still for a month and now it doesn't do anything. It takes her and her step-mother some time to remember that last time she disconnected the battery. She connects it again and now the cranking starts, facial for a minute and the pedal pumping in her boots for 15 seconds.
