When she grimaced at its strange taste, Gepetto calmly informed her of its true properties - as if was the most normal thing in the world. His descriptions of bodily take-over by nanobot stunned and alarmed Charlotte. She began to flee the laboratory but suddenly found her limbs ceasing up on her - just as Gepetto said they would. Eventually she came to a total, statue-like stand still half-way down a corridor. Seconds after, her mind too succumbed to the full effect of the nanobots. From that moment on, she was no longer Charlotte. Later, she could be seen standing back in the laboratory, vacant-eyed.
