I cuffed my wrists and ankles and then set a 25 lb dumbbell with a chain at the bottom of a 9ft deep pool. I swim up for a last breath and then swim down, chaining my ankles to the dumbbell. My chain is just long enough for my face to be a couple inches below the surface. The only way I can get air is with a powerful upward stroke to lift the weight a little bit off the bottom. After making pretty poses and struggling for a bit, I take one last breath and pull myself down to the weight to unchain myself.

I love dancing underwater, so after “freeing” myself I decided to play with the added challenge of dancing with my wrists and ankles cuffed together. I swim and twirls gracefully through the water, exhaling all a my air a few times so I can sink to the bottom.
