It's been one of those days. Your step-father has pissed me off to the point where I'm drinking on a weekday. I've had a few drinks this afternoon and so I'm feeling nice and relaxed. I'm glad you came and sat down with me because I needed to vent about what a jerk your step-father can be. I know he's your step-dad and I'm just your stepmother but still I'm glad you gave me the time to get this off my chest. And it may just be the talking, but I'm in the mood to do something to get back at him for all the terrible things he's done.
