Bella learns that surrendering has its benefits as opposed to stubbornly refusing to admit defeat and struggle on futilely. Because she humbly admitted she wasn't strong enough to break free, Bella is rewarded for her humility by being set free and given free reign to coax her very stubborn friend Sadie into finally admitting that the Chair wins.
