Hywel's note - a first experiment with the mild 1.33x squeeze anamorphic Laowa lenses on the Sony FX9. The anamorphic character is subtler than the 2x squeeze lenses I have for the GH5, and a lot sharper. I think it gives the film a subtle cinematic quality, although I do wish I could provoke them into showing stronger lens flares. A more interesting tool for location shoots than for our domestic stuff I think (our house has lots of rooms but none of them especially large, and anamorphics often need space to play in).
