This is one of Astrid's favorite practices - bastinado. In this clip, barefoot Astrid is bound and her feet are going to be punished. Astrid has her hands tied behind her back, her legs are tied at the ankles and fixed on a suspended bar, and her big toes are also tied.

I slap her bare feet with a paddle, a whip, and a bamboo stick, then roast them with a fire torch. Astrid is doing great and tears appear in her eyes during the punishment.
