Taking the opportunity, Anna begins searching for the man's important documents. She finds a folder by the window and starts reading, but before she can act, the man grabs her from behind, removes her face adornment, and knocks her out.
Anna awakens tied on her back, struggling to free herself. The man returns, exposing her stomach and tormenting her with relentless tickling and light slaps. He uses an array of tools: a spiked roller, tongs, a long claw, a feather, a paddle, bamboo rods, and a double spiked roller. Each device amplifies her sensitivity, as he alternates between tickling and striking her belly. He even incorporates a Darsonval device to heighten her torment.
After leaving Anna briefly alone, she attempts to escape but ends up hiding under a fabric covering. The man quickly finds her and traps her in a cage-like device. Through the bars, he continues tickling her navel with a feather, making her to arch her stomach in an attempt to avoid his touch.
In the final act, he drips hot wax onto her navel, leaving Anna in shock and fear. He then leads her to another room, where she finds herself restrained on a cross. The man resumes his torment, combining tickling, belly slaps, and even striking her with a paddle. At one point, he suspends ice tongs in her navel, adding to her discomfort.
The scene ends with the man terrifying Anna by waving a torch near her belly. After one last round of intense tickling, he leaves her alone in darkness.
