Reigns are great! You yank them a bit on one side and the pony goes there. Even if the pony is a bit stubborn, you just need to pull a bit harder and the pony will follow your lead, since the pulling hurts his mouth - if the snaffle is placed correctly ... and thats always the case, when I ride!
