I'm supposed to have an important remote meeting at work but wouldn't you know it, I have a persistent dry cough today! I try to get through my presentation but I simply cannot stop coughing. Even taking sips of water doesn't help. Eventually I have to mute myself and allow somebody else to take over the meeting. I cough for a while, deeply and at times convulsively, while still trying to pay attention to my computer. Finally I think that the cough has subsided so I unmute myself and ask for questions, but I start coughing again.
