100% real hiccups. I almost never get them, but the anesthesia I was given at the hospital earlier that day had a side effect of really bad hiccups!

I was just about to go to bed and I started hiccuping. It was the worst bout of hiccups I've ever had. They are loud, frequent and they move my entire body. I try everything I can: chugging water, holding my breath and more, but they will not go away. I just want to rest. but my hiccups won't let me!
