Lt. Commander Silvers, trekking through the stars aboard the starship, keeps getting a reading on her tricorder of an extra life form aboard the ship. She takes her work home wit her to her quarters and tries to analyze it and track it down on her computer terminal, but no luck. Just as she's ready to give up for the night, the extra being aboard, who was hiding in her quarters, runs up behind her...! Lt.
