Emma is guided into the living room by Paul. She doesn’t know it yet because her eyes are closed, but Paul is carrying a handful of scarves, all of them to be used in binding her to the chair. He starts off with a simple blindfold, and then proceeds to tether her wrists to the armrests. Her ankles are next, after which she is given a bit of a break to try to test her restraints. The scarves are surprisingly strict.
