I shoot most of my videos on an HD webcam (Logitech C920) and leave them widescreen at 1280 x 720 resolution (unless it says standard definition) though I can make them one size bigger if needed! If I don't shoot it on my webcam then I use a Canon 60D which is also awesome quality! I just use the mic on my webcam or handheld camera but eventually I might update to something better but what I have now does the job! :) I usually shoot stuff on my bed but occasionally I'll use my living room, bathroom or another location.
