As he taunts his helpless captive, she tries to cry out for help, hoping the brave members of the Superheroine Squadron will hear her. The Dark Phantom reveals she is bait for the superheroines and shows off his nefarious new device to render them powerless. He silences her with wrapped microfoam tape gag, so she cannot warn the superheroines. And to further enhance her peril, he places a ticking device on her lap, leaving her that way. She can only struggle uselessly in her bonds as she screams into her gag. Soon the squadron members find her and attempt to figure out how to save her from such peril. She tries to warn them about the trap as the Dark Phantom makes his appearance and activates his nefarious device, a new and improved dark energy generator. The superheroines are rendered powerless and collapse as the villain gloats over his victory. Then all the superheroines are bound with dark energy bindings as the Dark Phantom places the generator in front of them, telling them of their impending fate. The heroines struggle and are gagged so they are subjected to the dark energy. But they soon find themselves getting free from their bindings, as they help each other and make their escape. Will they bring the Dark Phantom to justice?
