The Head Mistress is taking the English lesson today unbeknownst to the pupils who are slightly taken aback. Having learnt how recalcitrant this class is she decides a spelling test should give her an insight into their progress and it certainly does. Two of the pupils obviously don't pay attention during lessons which becomes more apparent to the Head Mistress as they insist on messing around in class so end up bent over the desk for the slipper.
