At the appointed time, Step-Daddy found Violet sitting in his armchair and decided that her continuing misbehaviour deserved severe punishment. Violet was told to bend over the chair and given a hard paddling with the dreaded Jokari bat. After a few solid swats Step-Daddy decided that Violet's bottom should be bare in order for her to feel the full benefit of the paddle. So her pyjamas and knickers were lowered and the paddling continued until Violet's sobbing demonstrated that she'd learned her lesson - at least for the time being.
