I had experienced lots things throughout the day.

Now it was time for me to experience the Tawse, I was told that I wouldn’t be able to cope with 31 stokes of the Tawse on my hands, and that was such a relief to hear.

I was told I was going to have 3 strikes on each hand, then I was going to have a last hard one on each hand after the 3, easy enough I thought.

How wrong that thought was.

You will be able to see from my reaction and tears that I found it very difficult to cope with.
