Half the day gone and my first pack of Chesterfield Red 100s is almost empty, I light my last cigarette and feel the hard dry cough starting... I crush the pack of cigarettes almost as soon as my black lungs compress... I try to cough discreetly, but it doesn't quite work, it burns too much in my lungs and you can hear them drag and whistle... I turn away so that you can only look at me from the side as my larynx, throat and chest convulse with each hard cough attack...
