I filmed this brief scene a couple of years ago in Central London in the middle of January. Emily, 20 years old, was a girl who was brand new to smoking. She had only sampled a few cigarettes in the previous couple of months while in nightclubs or bars with friends. Luckily she agreed to a short smoking shoot to show off her new skills. She’s still learning how to inhale in this video and thus she shallowly breathes in small amounts of smoke. However, encouragingly she brought her own cigarettes to the shoot, an indication that she’s committed to long-term smoking.
