So when Mimi had to leave early you can see how Tara looks at Diddi and thinks “goody! maybe I can smoke now.” After a moment, she shyly but eagerly accepted a cigarette from Diddi and they enjoy smoking cigarettes together. After the first cigarette she watches Diddi, wishing for more until Diddi senses her desire and offers one. It's clear how she idolizes the glamorous way Diddi smokes and you can see how she self consciously tries to imitate her style, and gets some feedback from Diddi.
