The scene opens with news reporter, Jenn Evie, walking through bushes, wearing a dark, short skirt, gray satin blouse, business jacket, dark pantyhose and blue, patent-leather heels. She's hot on the trail of a news story, chatting with her editor on the phone. There are close up shots of her shoes, stockinged feet and legs. While taking photos, Jenn accidentally steps into quicksand. She immediately grasps her predicament and tries to get free. Struggling only sends her deeper, but she continues nonetheless.
