The scene opens with UltraGirl waking up, finding her wrists bound with rope and her legs in a quicksand pit. She is not worried, even when she finds that her power belt is missing. Rachel Adams struggles to free her wrists, as she slowly sinks into the pit. She succeeds and even manages to reach across the quicksand to retrieve a yellow belt, but after putting it on, she can't fly out of the quicksand - the belt is a fake!
