The transmission element of the sewing machine has some mechanical problems. Very often it gets stuck. But Sophia does not seem to worry and keeps pressing the pedal. The small engine pulley starts to slip on the belt. From time to time the sewing machine unlocks and sews. But in the end it gets stuck again and while Sophia continues to press the pedal fully, the heat produced by the friction of the small engine pulley on the belt causes the belt to break.
