Finally, Mr McClagen deals with Simpkins, not one of his favourite prefects. He considers her actions to be tantamount to bullying and not the behaviour of a responsible prefect. In addition, he finds her attitude condescending and is glad of the opportunity to bring her down a peg or two. Simpkins turns out to be a real wimp. When dishing it out, she was tough enough. When on the receiving end, she is reduced to a simpering wet. (SP209)
