The trouble with swimming pool duty is that there are too many other distractions. When our three prefects hear about some juicy gossip, they fail to ensure that the pool is left neat and tidy by the last class. The swimming instructor is furious with them and summons them up to his house. In his kitchen, he calls the girls in one at a time and gives each one a sound spanking. It is honorous work but someone has to do it. (SP69)
