Mrs Taylor, the new mayoress, is suprised when the town clerk arrives one sundy morning, behaving in a brusque fashion. She looks down at the suitcase that he is carrying; he tells her, "This is my suitcase of surprises." He proceeds to berate her for her poor performance, cancelled appointments and the like, then to her astonishment tells her that she deserves her a good spanking, even at her age.
