The sergeant brings the soldier Petr to the marshal office for to punishment, because he had failed to shave. The marshal decides on a severe flogging. Petr is very scared but he is made to strip and present his body and bare ass. Then Petr is caned until marshal says enough. The pain and humiliation he feels is made worse by his continued attempts to retain his dignity.
