The marshal has decided to give a whipping to both guys under his charge, he wants to see which of the two will prove to be the more of a man and braver. The soldiers Petr and Pavel each receive first a whipping with the leather whip on their backs and their buttocks, this is followed by a vigorous hand spanking. Then the soldier’s punishment continues with them next being subjected to the nine-tailed whip used liberally on his backs and bare butts, the whole ordeal puts immense strain on their stamina.
